Welcome to Tummy (“we,” “us,” “our”). We are committed to helping you understand your gut health while protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle the information collected when you use the Tummy - Bloating & Gut Health mobile application (the “App”).

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Anonymity and No Account Required

Tummy is designed for anonymous use. We do not require or allow you to create an account. We do not collect or store any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address, or phone number.

3. Data Processing and AI Analysis

To provide "Bloat Scores" and ingredient insights, the App processes data as follows:

• Food Photos: When you take a photo of a meal, the image is transmitted to a third-party AI processor (Google Gemini) to analyze ingredients and identify potential triggers.
• Local Storage: After the AI analysis is complete, the photo is stored locally on your device. We do not store your photos on our servers. You may manually delete your photo history at any time within the App.
• Data Usage: Your photos and lifestyle answers are used solely to provide your personalized insights. We do not use your data or images to train AI models.

4. Information Collected for Analytics and Subscriptions

• Analytics Data (via Firebase): We automatically collect general usage information to improve the App. This includes app launches, taps, and performance metrics. This data is anonymized and not linked to your identity.
• Subscription Data (via Apple): Tummy is a subscription-only app. All billing and subscriptions are managed exclusively by the Apple App Store. We receive anonymized confirmation of your subscription status to unlock features, but we never have access to your credit card or billing details.

5. How We Share Data

We do not sell your data. We share only the necessary, non-identifiable data with third-party service providers to power the App:

• AI Service (Google Gemini): Receives food photos for real-time analysis.
• Analytics (Firebase): Receives anonymous usage events.
• Subscription Management: Receives anonymized purchase tokens to verify access.

6. Medical Information Disclaimer

Tummy is an informational tool. While we track gut health symptoms, we do not collect "Protected Health Information" (PHI) as defined by HIPAA. The data you provide is intended for your personal tracking and is not used for medical diagnosis.
